Tags/Thematic thesaurus

With Joséphine, from the CNRS Ethnomusicology Laboratory, we talked about a "tags"-like feature. The tags I'm talking about are those you can find on Freesound or Flickr.
Here are links to so-called "tag clouds" :

However, it goes a little beyond tags. The most relevant example Joséphine talked about is the "Thematic thesaurus", as implemented on the MMSH sound library (french):

On this page, if you scroll a bit, you can see several lines starting by "Thesaurus thématique". These are links to both categories and tags within these categories. It looks like a rather generic feature that can be useful for the CNRS Ethnomusicology Laboratory as well as other potential users of Telemeta. Joséphine says it's a great feature, she'd like to see implemented in Telemeta.

What do you think about this?

The data we're currently dealing with, that is : the CREM database, do contain keywords which could be used as tags, and thus may appear as a tag cloud.

However, there's nothing hierarchical about those keywords, so there's no need to implement a "thematic thesaurus" in the near future.

Anyway, tag cloud or not, this won't be fixed for Telemeta 0.5. Updating milestone.
